Another find from my studio clean up. I did this little collage mixed media piece August 2006 for a gallery studio show. I sold about 3 or 4 pieces it was a new adventure for me and I need to revisit it. Mixing glass with my other loves of art, like paper and fabric and beads and paint, it all makes me happy. So I took new photos, when I photographed these last time it was with my old camera. This has been added back to my shop and I hope I can get back in to the swing of mixing my glass with all kinds of goodies.
Some very inspirational Artists to me in the mixed media world is Susan Sorrell of CreativeChickStudios.

I am not a huge fan of wholesale orders. I am asked quite often what I offer as wholesale. This means a few things to me when I hear it. It means, I will work harder for less money and I will be doing the same items over and over. I have done it before, I am not really into making the same items over and over and no matter how ya toss it, I will be doing the work. Consistency is the key to wholesale. Big companies want to be able to offer an item that will look the same for 100s of customers based on a photo they have published. And to be honest, that is what whole sale is about. Large orders that is the only way money can really be made.
For an artists this is neither fun nor worth the effort in most cases. I am more about creative freedom than anything.
With all my complaints put out in the open now, I will tell you I have now found a way to offer wholesale that is neither taxing for me as an artist and now consistency is firmly in place.
First Up for wholesale are 2 products I call Tarts & Lollies®. They are colorful, petite and cute and easy to make. Lollies are a small round colorful pendant and the Tarts are a bit bigger and square colorful as well. The retail on the Lollies is $10 to $12, tarts retail for $12 to$15. The wholesale price is based on the number you order so you must inquire with me
on those prices and you must have a whole sale ID. Larger orders are welcome in fact preferred. I would rather not be contacted about wholesale orders unless you plan to order more than 10-20 at a time. My first batch of Lollies is headed out the door and I am really excited (but nervous) about this new adventure.
I offer these cute little pendants in my shop for retail -1 pendant at a time if you are NOT looking for wholesale. To inquire about Tarts & Lollies® you can contact me HERE

Trends in jewelry change all the time, I am feeling like ladies are leaning toward the smaller line of items I have but I would really like some input. So Tell me what size pendants you like. Small dime size, medium quarter size or bigger like half dollar. If you prefer giving dimensions in inches go for it. I would just love to know what the people want 🙂
