The trouble with being creative is all the “other” work that goes along with it. I have been working like crazy to get ready for some trunk shows(thanks C) I just keep adding pendants and earring and pins to a little round box and tell my self “okay ya got to put all that on cards” I may have to hire my kiddos again to card my jewelry. I really dislike that part of the process LOL.
So here is a peek at the box I have been adding to for a few weeks. What does not sell will slowly be added to my Etsy shop I am sure.

It has been a few weeks since my last entry I have been a little under the weather and needed a break from something and Blogging was just about the only thing I could cut LOL.
The Holiday shopping is in full Swing or it should be by now, that has been my past experience any way. I just knew I need to make some Seasonal stuff. I traditionally do a snowman pendant and do the three colors of Christmas oh and toss in some snow flakes. After 8 years of fusing and 18 years or more of jewelry making the only surprise is I actually get a new idea LOL
My painting skills are limited but I have to say have come a long way since last year. So I have done some teeny tiny Christmas charms. They are hand painted, fused, grooved and wire wrapped.
I am actually looking forward to this next craft show One Saturday and Sunday, It is one I have done for 6 years and it huge, I have a ton of stuff. Wish me luck!
Come see what else I have in my shoozles shop

One of the greater memories I have of my children is taking them to the park with kites. Now imagine, three- 4 1/2 yr olds with kites and 1 chubby little mom trying to get kites in the air very fast. OK, now that you have that in your head imagine me trying to enjoy this in any way. I would get one up, go to the next and then the next, only to look where I started to see I needed to begin again. I did this for quite awhile then magic happened I got all three boys with a kite in the air! I enjoyed this all of 4 mins then the wind changed direction and yanked the kite right out of Sam’s hand. I chased that kite string like a dog ! Only to be defeated by a very large tree- The kite was caught, the struggle was ON, I spend the next 25 mins (seemed like 2 hours) pushing little boys up a tree to see if the string could be reached. HA! That was a wash! My then 4 1/2 yr old Sam looked at me and said it’s okay mom, I won’t cry (did I mention I love this little boy) as we walked to the car he turned to look at the kite flying in the wind, caught by the tree and he said “that tree sure is having fun flying my kite” SIGH! What a beautiful way to look at it. He didn’t lose the kite he gave it to the tree.
I will never forget that day and what he said and what it means to have your kite caught- Life is so like this, we get caught, we struggle, but in the end we just have to let it go.
