Inspiration is a funny thing. It can come from almost anywhere, the littlest things can spark inspiration. The way a crumpled piece a paper lays, the way a shadow cast across a yard, even in my case when a batch of glass falls to the floor and makes a large crash and a huge mess even music can inspire us-so why not a scent a glorious smell. Can a scent inspire us to create? maybe if it is a great one hey? Anyone that knows me knows I love orange and struggle not to use it in my work but oh man after I got a whiff of this soap by daisycakessoap all bets were off it rekindled my love for the color orange LOL No kidding!
I shopped late for my own mothers day gift again this year and I popped over to JM’s shop knowing full well I would buy something fresh and fruity. Kumquat was perfect because it was orange. I had no idea what it smelled like- I totally trust JM and I knew it would be good but never knew it would smell this yummy. I keep telling her I swear I didn’t eat it but it smells good enough to lick.
Now everyday I can smell that soap at my studio sink and it really sunk into me because now I can’t quit making orange pendants- Like I ever could ha ha!
This pendant is in honor of JMs soap and my love for Kumquat Soap- Thanks for making my studio smell great!

Long time no Blog- Yikes! Sorry to all my reader friends, been a little busy.
I would like to introduce to you my glass ladies. These little gals will dance on your neck to only a tune they can hear LOL Whispers of songs fill their little bead heads, happiness is their mantra.
In my 20 something years of jewelry my mind happened upon some little ladies I made from polymer glass and beads I made tons of them only to wave good bye when glass came into my life. I thought of them often and how I could cross over the design to glass and after nearly nine years the new ladies have arrived. I hope you will enjoy them they are a labor of love. I have one last armless cripples lady from ages ago as a reminder all things can be revisited.
As always-Thanks for looking

, well represented
As a person that buys artful things and sells them. I try to remember – We like to see the actual item we are getting. Art should be well represented even if you have made 20 or 30 of the same style really it is nice to see the real item. There is nothing worse than buying what is considered to be original one of a kind and getting it in the mail only to find it was less than represented or even slightly different than the photo. Be considerate to your art buying customers and take the time to rephotograph similar items. In all fairness somethings less original have no need to be rephotographed.
All I know is the items I make tend to be a little more subject to what the heat will do so each item will truly be unique so I want them to be represented properly.
I have made over 25 of these ocean scenes within the past year and I made sure each one was photographed no matter how close it may have been to the last one I sold. It is just fair to my customers.

Get a look in this shop there are gemstone and silver treasures in every click. Great descriptions and nice photos just a pleasant shopping experience all the way around.
I fisrt want to tell about the About the Z in her shop and business name- She says The “Z” in Cryztalvisions? It’s an homage to a wonderful teachers who pronounced crystals: “creezzztals”
You can tell that each piece is lovingly handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail. She has been designing unique jewelry and gift items for over 20years. Selling on line for 7 years.
I am especially drawn to what she says here in her profile “Along the way I have also been drawn to studying and practicing various energy healing arts, like Reiki, chakra balancing, Earth based energy medicine, shamanic practices, and Angel Therapy. I have found combining my love of minerals, my artistic eye and skill in jewelry fabrication and design, along with my heightened sensitivity to energies creates a powerful synergy. I love to immerse myself in the creative process and I’m fascinated when some pieces seem to magically design themselves. I am pleased to share my passion with you”
I want to meet this lovely lady! I love what she says about her work “I delight in creating these pieces! Each one is unique, with its own energy that I feel as I work with the materials. They transport me to a place of deep knowing, relaxation and happiness as I work. My pieces not only look wonderful when worn, but also carry with them the special healing energies of each gemstone or crystal. My work is a constant exploration of the interconnectedness of all life.” So fascinating makes me want to own one of her works.

I am a wire lover my self so I found some wonderful things in this shop!
Originally born and partially raised in NB Canada, she fell in love with beading at the tender age of eight. It was a Christmas gift her grandparents gave her- a large beading kit! From then on she was always making some form of jewelry or another. The only thing thats changed are range of materials from plastic stretch cord and plastic pony beads to sterling silver and precious stones.
Her newest realization is discovering she can’t completely limit the materials she works with and be happy for very long. I love what she says “Each piece of Jewelry I make is an extension of myself to you, there’s no mass produced here just pieces that are as unique and special as you are.” what a great compliment to the customer. Uniqueness counts that is for sure!

I love it when I look at a shop and I think I have to have everything in there. Eve’s alilsumptinsumptin’s Etsy shop was just like that. Her photos were wonderful, her items are beautifully made and here is the greatness of it all 100% of the sale price her ‘PAWS FOR A GOOD CAUSE’ items are donated to the non-profit organization named in the listing. You can’t get much better than that. She has even listed how much the Paws For Good cause has made from her items. WOW great work EVA!
I enjoyed looking through her whole shop, She has whimsical beaded animal necklaces and then she has more sophisticated flower beaded pieces, there is a little bit for everyone in her shop. I like it all but I am especially drawn to this flower piece, probably because that colors is my fave.
I hope you will enjoy looking through her shop as much as I did. http://alilsumptinsumptins.etsy.com

I stumbled upon a Thread in Etsy by the Giftbarer, Thought this was great idea. The thread was about Featuring a different artist every day or so that signs up. I am not sure how everyone is doing it but I think I will be just browsing the shops and finding an Item I like and tell what I like about it.
My first feature is The autor of the thread Giftbarer- Pippit Carlington. She has some wonderful Art Jewelry in her shop but I have to say this item called -Hint At Something Deeper- just catches my eye. The copper and the sterling stamens just draw me in. The details of her work are amazing. If you are looking for a high end Art necklace she has what you are looking for. Please see her shop here and tell her shoozles sent you.
