Okay I have a problem! I am admitting it. I sometimes laugh when people fall. No matter how bad I try not to laugh I just loose it. Not when they are in real pain but you know tripping or just not paying attention and stumble. I won’t get into to what I think happens to my self when I see a person fall. I just can help it. Maybe it’s nerves that make me giggle, I don’t know. I have shame but I don’t think there is much I can do.
So anyway on with why I am confessing this sad problem I have.
I have a computer chair that was on it’s last leg and for the life of me I could not fix it. In fact it was down right dangerous, I have a bruised hip and elbow to prove it! So I put it out for trash pick up or if anyone was so inclined to fix the wretched contraption- it was all theirs. So out it went cause I was not taking any more chances. So today Out side my door, I heard a truck pull up I looked out the window, oh yes just as I figured, someone was more than happy to take the beast of a chair off my hands but not before doing a test sit. I thought NOOOOOOO don’t sit in that thing it has it’s own ejection button. And then it happened no kidding I would pay to see this circus act again over and over. No kidding I am laughing now so hard I almost can’t write this. The guy pulls up looks at the chair like he is shopping at Macy’s department store. Turns it, rolls it, then plopped into it like they were friends, only to be totally rejected by this god awful seat! I thought I would pee my pants. It tilted and bucked like a rodeo bull and out he went on to my lawn. He popped up very quick(Get Smart like) looked around to see if anyone saw the interaction between he and the chair. I will never forget the look on his face, the horror, no pain that I could tell just pure embarrassment and offense that anyone would put that chair out there for him to sit on-Like I offered him a trick chair.
So did he take the chair? Hell yes he took it, I have no idea why, after it offended him so. Just goes to show doesn’t matter- Ones mans trash is another mans rodeo bull chair treasure LOL

Trends in jewelry change all the time, I am feeling like ladies are leaning toward the smaller line of items I have but I would really like some input. So Tell me what size pendants you like. Small dime size, medium quarter size or bigger like half dollar. If you prefer giving dimensions in inches go for it. I would just love to know what the people want 🙂

Oh yes the endless Science Fair project. The project name – Is It Dry Yet? Which primary color will dry first? Red? Yellow? Blue? Here is the real question, does any one care? No but 2 little boys have really worked hard to find out.
So drum Roll Please………… The primary color that dried the fastest in all three trials WAS! BLUE!!!!! Darker colors dry fastest So there you go more than you wanted to know about drying paint.
They presented the project today at the fair we had a pretty impressive board I must say and the did an excellent job presenting So now we wait to see if they go regional.

For 8 years now I have been using a diamond grinder and bits. So my collection of used bits, is crazy. I refuse to add them to land fill, I know things like glass and metal just never break down. I have tried the recycled bits and I have to say not impressed.
This is my son Sam’s dream creation he was so cute. Over Christmas break we brain Stormed about what to do with my use grinder bits “Robots MOM”Sam Said! That is what we did. Hand painted by Sam (12 yrs old) wired and beaded by MOM- He is so proud 🙂 and so am I .
We talk about how to make the world better not about what is wrong with the world- I love you Sam
You can purchase Robot Sam from my Etsy shop http://shoozles.etsy.com

I got an interesting inquiry this week that will change the way I “List” on Etsy.
A buyer on Etsy that shops quite often by category asked why people put older items up over and over(it’s called relisting, I call it chronic relisting). They said it is very confusing to the Buyer/shopper to go out and see the same items that were there last week or just yesterday. They also said at first they thought maybe nothing new had been added to the list since it was the same things they saw yesterday. They almost didn’t bother to go further. People tend to get board with seeing the same items over and over.
I did explain the relisting process and why some people do it. But just as a warning to Sellers, you may be driving potential customers away by listing the same items over and over. Confusion and stale look to a site can kill the customer base.
Keep it fresh try to mix it up a bit add new things as often as possible. I know we get busy and replenishing stock can be hard at times not to mention taking photos and everything else it takes to list an item but it will be worth your effort to list new items and limit relisting.
Think of customers first!

Oh yea such a fun topic I know! But important all the same.
This week I noticed a small wet spot at the back of my studio…hummm? Not good! And not so small. We had huge rain storms and well it came in at the back of my studio. Distraught? Nah! My New Years Resolution was to get the ol Glass Studio in good condition so I could show my studio for a Spring Open House, needless to say the flood sped thing up. So like I always say turn the Bad into GOOD and move on with YOUR life LOL.
It gave me a reason to rearrange and to throw out stuff. I am quite delighted with the results, so much so, I am willing to share with you what it looks like to this point. I am still working on the other side of the studio so there will be a part 2 to this post. If you go to my flickr you can take the tour, to see what all the stuff is but here is what I have done so far. I also hope this inspires others to get in their studios and clean, you’ll be amazed at the stuff you will find. I found a 4th edition Bead and Button magazine from 1994- Vintage LOL, it doesn’t even have any advertisements. They have come a long way!
Thanks for looking~Shoozles
