Okay, Last week I worked on Tween gifts-back to the drawing board is where I went. My boys told me last weeks entry-mom those are alright but not quite there, just a little too old. We talked about it and brain stormed. Did I mention they are popular LOL something I was not, I was shy and very quiet so knowing what was popular was not my thing and if I did know I was not going to say a word for fear of being wrong. A lot has changed thank goodness now I don’t care if I am wrong it only hurts not to try.
Okay back to the tween gift pendant. I went smaller and less expensive because we know how they can lose stuff and when they lose expensive things it is upsetting so I was thinking of the moms too 🙂 I also thought the traditional bails look too old for our 11- 16 crowd so I did a wire loop combo with a sweet little bead accent. I also thought traditional dichro and millifiories were over done and really don’t fill the bill. Paint is what I settled on. I think I did okay I had a sale this weekend and today and sold 4 of them and the first thing the moms said was “Oh my daughter will love this.” I had to ask the ages and yes it was our beloved TWEENS.
Another idea came to me as I looked at the boys, it occurred to me they all may have to wear those boring lanyards so I designed these fun little lanyard additions for kids to collect, affordable and cute. The boys have informed me there must be some boy Tacs soon So in the kiln today little fun tacs for boys. Can’t wait for them to see what I did.
I am sure I am not finished with the ideas and will always be thinking of new ideas for the pre-teens to teen group my boys will not let me get too far off track I hope.

While I am Away my cat will play LOL!
Butter will be doing all the online shopping on Black Friday He promises to buy only handmade items. I gave him the Etsy tutorial. He has a huge budget. Be kind to Butter when he visits your shop he just might spend his whole wad in your ETSY shop. I have given him a list of good shops. When you visit this link please post your etsy shop and Butter will have a look. http://www.flickr.com/photos/shoozlesfusesglass/2053113091/
It’s just for laughs. I have a great imagination, when I saw Butter sitting on my computer desk looking oh so sweet but just a little guilty all I could think was just thought how cute would it be for a kitten to have his little paws on the keyboard clicking links and using paypal to buy things from ETSY LOL!

I am amazed at the number of people that write things in their blog that well, simply, is in bad taste and not in their best interest. The childishness that is revealed in these blogs only hurt heir own business and will continue to make them look foolish especially when the facts are not clear and it is truly libelous material. I am betting a lawyer would have a hey day with some blogs (yes that is a warning).
The other Amazing thing to me is these same people fail to see where every bit of anguish they now cradle they have brought on to themselves.
For the record this ONE is a cryptic message. Oh and I never said Better Artist- I said it made you better- I will now clarify what you may be better at- COPYING! kiss mmkay ;*
Oh and thanks for the FREE advertising

Every Year I do these two big shows. Then I focus on the small venues and parties. I am always so relieved when they are over. I even need a day to just not be in my studio and yesterday was it. I made cookies I am not supposed to eat and cleaned my house that was neglected for a month because I was getting ready for this big craft show. A Deep Breath and now I ready to go again LOL
Over 50 pendants sold at the show I have to say the show was a lot lower this year than in the past 5 years I have done it. Little over saturated with not so good jewelry. Makes me sad because I could see the craft show patrons not even venture down my direction because they were worn out by the piles of beaded junk they had already been subject to. All in all I would say it was not bad sales wise. The jingle pendant went like hot cakes wish I would have had even more of those and more Christmas charms would have been tops on the list. And I would say small pendants are HOT! At least in Illinois that is what is selling.
So there we go I am off to restock for my next venue Get Ready Tina! 🙂

My boys informed me I must make gifts for some “girl” “friends” UT-Oh I am in trouble This is the beginning of Tweenhood here in my house. Triple Trouble Tweens? I am gasping for air right now! So I said well… the girls can wear what I make right? The boys looked at me like yea BUT- that means it may need to be a bit more hip. So I revised the Charm pendants to Hip them up a bit, make them good for the tween and teen crowd. We will see if I have passed the test soon enough.
I have things for MOMs, and I have tiny pendants for the little girls so lets hope the teen scene is going to be my next thing. I may need to bring in a panel of experts. HUMMM? I may need to do a focus group LOL I think I can find a few pre-teens to test for me 🙂
I think Size may be the key and oh the Jingle factor LOL the pendant measures 38mm now that is with the loop flow and glass piece so not too big. get the details here at my shop

It has been a few weeks since my last entry I have been a little under the weather and needed a break from something and Blogging was just about the only thing I could cut LOL.
The Holiday shopping is in full Swing or it should be by now, that has been my past experience any way. I just knew I need to make some Seasonal stuff. I traditionally do a snowman pendant and do the three colors of Christmas oh and toss in some snow flakes. After 8 years of fusing and 18 years or more of jewelry making the only surprise is I actually get a new idea LOL
My painting skills are limited but I have to say have come a long way since last year. So I have done some teeny tiny Christmas charms. They are hand painted, fused, grooved and wire wrapped.
I am actually looking forward to this next craft show One Saturday and Sunday, It is one I have done for 6 years and it huge, I have a ton of stuff. Wish me luck!
Come see what else I have in my shoozles shop
